Non COVID times:
We run a fantastic Enrichment Program which gives students opportunities to get involved in a wide range of projects, societies and activities in Sport, Creative and Performing Arts as well as academic subjects. Many activities are run by our own staff but we also work with external organisations and specialist providers to ensure a high quality offer for students. There is a specially designed Enrichment Programme for students who have Special Educational Needs although all our societies are inclusive. We encourage all our students to take part in at least one activity, to enrich their experience and enjoyment of learning as well as develop new skills, interests and friendships. Unless otherwise stated, the program runs from 3.15pm – 4.15pm each day.
COVID arrangements: November 2020
Staff and Prefects at Heartlands have contributed to this updated Enrichment Grid, which contains activities you can be getting on with to enrich yourself and develop your character while you are at home and clubs can’t take place.
The Grid is divided into different categories, so you may wish to focus on activities that interest you most. Activities highlighted in yellow are specific clubs that some of you have already taken part in.
We’d love to hear from you: email your tutor any photos or videos of you doing any of these enrichment activities!
