On the 22nd January, Heartlands High School had the privilege of hosting the first round of the ESU Winston Churchill Public Speaking Competition.
It was an incredibly interesting night with great speeches from a range of students from schools across North London. The caliber of speeches was phenomenal and we are pleased to announce that Heartlands were the proud runners up. The team were made up of Year 11 students: Leart Shabani, Tanzim Khan and Priyanka Patel, who spoke wonderfully on a range of tough topics. Congratulations and well done to them!
