We have been contacted by our families this week regarding the unauthorised occupancy of Wood Green common. A number of caravans and associated vehicles are now on the common without permission. Mrs Roberts has been in contact with the ward Councillors about this and reported this to the police.
The principle concerns are: there is no vehicle access to the site, this means cars and vans need to leave or mount the pedestrian walk way and cycle path used by our students. Secondly this is where we teach PE, without access to this we will have to dramatically reduce our PE curriculum.
